Interesting chaos theory thing: see Synchronized Chaos and Data Encryption, www.apmaths.uwo.ca/~bfraser/version1/encryption.html, part of the Non-Linear Lab www.apmaths.uwo.ca/~bfraser/version1/nonlinearlab.html . The Java applet there is especially nice. I have tested this with the applet there, and it produced correct results for all parameters I tested.
